Nanotechnology Theme Day Report (2009)
On 22-24 September 2009, the RCUK Nanoscience Programme held a Theme Day to evaluate its portfolio and approach to supporting nanoscience and nanotechnology.  On completion the report will be available here.

Nanoscale Technologies - Strategy 2009-2012
This Strategy document sets out the way the Technology Strategy Board will support UK businesses to responsibly deliver market leading nanoscale technology solutions, channelled through high-value applications, that help to solve society's greatest challenges.

UK-China Workshop:
Governance and Regulation of Nanotechnology: The Role of the Social Sciences and Humanities
The aim of the RCUK/ESRC UK-China Workshop was to define the role of social science and humanities research in the governance and regulation of nanotechnology. The workshop aimed to consider experience to-date and build capacity for productive contributions in both Chinese and UK contexts.

Nanotechnology Town Meeting (2006)
EPSRC held a Nanotechnology Town Meeting on 18 July 2006 in London. The day aimed to inform stakeholders of the developing thoughts of the EPSRC Nanotechnology Strategic Review Panel, receive their comments to help shape the Panel's report and the future EPSRC support for the Nanotechnology area.

Nanotechnology Strategy (2006)
This strategy has been implemented by the research councils.  The document was written in response to the 2005 RCUK Nanotechnology Theme Day Report that reflects on the need for a more focused approach to Nanotechnology in order to further develop strengths adn exploit new opportunities.

This theme day, in June 2005, evaluated the EPSRC nanotechnology portfolio, providing guidance for future investment strategy.
